Sønderjyllands Symfoniorkester er et landsdelsorkester med 65 musikere i det sydlige Danmark med øvested i koncertsalen Alsion, Sønderborg. Orkestret har i de senere år modtaget P2 prisen 3 gange for ’bedste danske indspilning. Vi spiller ca. 155 koncerter om året, fordelt over det sydlige Danmark og det nordlige Tyskland. Orkestrets repertoire er først og fremmest klassisk symfonisk musik, men også kammermusik, skolekoncerter, populærkoncerter og opera.

The orchestra will provide a pianist during the audition 7th Sept. 2018.
Travel and accommodation costs in connection with the audition will not be reimbursed by the orchestra.
The full-time salary package is paid according to agreement between the Danish Regional Orchestras and the Danish Musicians’ Union (DMF), being commensurate with professional orchestral experience.

Sønderjyllands Symfoniorkester (SSO) / South Denmark Philharmonic is a symphony orchestra of 65 members based in Sønderborg, Denmark. It serves as the State orchestra for Denmark’s South Jutland region and Southern Schleswig in Germany. We play about 155 concerts per year – classical symphonic music, chamber music, school concerts and opera.
