About the position
Stibo Systems is looking for a UI Designer to our Product Strategy Department. Our new colleague will take active part in our Product Development process as a link between the clients and the R&D team.
As our UI Designer you will run the UI design development of our complex web-based software application to ensure state-of-the-art solutions. Our software user interfaces are the touch point between our software and our user community, so it is vital that we deliver a user interface experience that captivates and engages our users.
Shaping the future of Stibo Systems’ User Centric solutions will also be part of your assignment portfolio. This includes finding solutions to challenges, creating your own designs, and working within our design system and language, along with translating that into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes, storyboards and the typical artefacts that you would expect to manage as a UI Designer
You will be working closely with our UX organisation, our developers and other teams to ensure the delivery of world class experiences with our solutions. Our product development process is agile, based on Scrum methodology and as UI Designer you will greatly influence on how customers experience and interact with our software.

The position reports to the Director of User Experience. International travel of approximately 30 days per year will be required.
Your background and qualifications
You like to use your visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction, and you have a demonstrable knowledge, experience and passion for user-centred design practices for user interface, web, service or software development. You have a solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows and process flows.
In this role you will need a comprehensive technical background concerning technical capabilities and limitations. Expertise in UX software such as Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer, Zeplin and the like is a must. A good understanding of mobile/responsive application UI designs would be an added plus.
We expect you to have an IT-related background with professional skills related to UI/UX. As person you are self-motivating and thrive in a job that requires orientation to detail and customer facing activities.
